"We named our daughter Frieda and are quite happy with it. It is a joyful name and people seem to like it and remember it.
It's still unique unlike our other daughter Ruby who is known as Ruby, Kate, Ruby Kate, Katie because there are so many Rubys and Kathryns. We thought we were being very original with the name Ruby!
The only thing is the spelling - it might have been easier to use the spanish spelling." Jan. 2, 2010:
"LOVIN' THE NAME FRIEDA!! Yes I am an old lady named Frieda. ;) My nicknames growing up were Friday and Frie and Free! Today I just go by Frieda. I have two daughters named Madyson and Kathryn and hope they grow up to enjoy their names - they are more up to date!" Jun. 27, 2007:
