"Growing up I never disliked my name, not even once. To me it sounds cool, special and it's incredibly uncommon, no one else that I personally know of, has it. To this day, I have not met another Eunice outside of social media and it's nice to not be called "the other Eunice" or "Eunice #2" unlike a couple of my friends who share the same name. Glad that my parents gave me such a unique name that no one seems to forget after meeting me." Jul. 9, 2019:
"Its often spelled wrong and missed pronounced when read out loud. But its unique, odd and charming to me. I love my name :) I have yet to meet another Eunice in person." May. 23, 2019:
"It's easy to pronounce and it sounds very mature. Nice to have a name that not many others have making it feel unique." Sep. 8, 2015:
"My first name is Eunice (pronounced "YOU-nis," but my family always called me by my middle name (Diane). My grandmother, after whom I'm named, was Eunice. I didn't like having that name as a child, but I've loved it since I grew up. The first name was on my military records and many other things since then. I never married, so have the same first and last name my grandmother was known by. Relatives also say I bear a striking resemblance to her. I love it and I'm proud of it!" May. 6, 2011:
"this name is a blessing to me because every time you say it you prophecy victory on my life....old fashion or not i wouldnt change it for the world." Jan. 13, 2008:
"Eunice was my grandmother's name and I've named my daughter Eunice. It's a mouthful for a young child, but it is a beautiful name with a history dating back more than 2000 years. Who wouldn't want to be named after the winged goddes of victory?!" Dec. 26, 2007:
"Rhymes with the nonsense word peunice, hence ability to refer to so-named as "eunice-peunice",which can become a delightful addiction." Dec. 12, 2005:

"That's my name and I never have liked it. To me it is downright ugly!" Jan. 29, 2018:
"In the same category as Ethel, Beulah, and Bertha - an old lady's name. At its peak of popularity in the early years of the 20th century it ranked 117th and 114th in the American top 1,000 in 1900 and 1910 respectively, but has been in decline since then." Jan. 18, 2008:

"Although I like the Spanish and Greek pronunications best, since about the age of 8, I have really cherished this name - mainly because of the meaning - good, well, or happy victory.
In my early years of primary school, I recall thinking that parents should wait until the child is eight years old before naming the child; that is, for me at that time, I would have liked a different name; now, I am pleased with the choice that my parents and grandparents made, and would never change it, although if God gives me a different name, in Heaven, I will accept, and trust that He would also cherish the name EUNICE for me." "Marilyn Monroe's housekeeper in the last years of the short life of the actress herself was Eunice Joerndt Murray, born in 1902 and already a dowdy-looking person (as opposed to the glamorous Miss Monroe) when the two first met in the early 1960s." Feb. 14, 2008:
"My name is Eunice, and i'm not old. I don't like my name, but it's ok because it's unique." Feb. 11, 2008:
