"My Daughter's middle name is Dean, after her Grandfather's middle name. It was important to her dad to carry on the name. We had twin girls and no boy to pass it on to. I think it is fine for a middle name. Was curious to know what others thought... apparently it is a gender neutral name. I didn't know that. I have always related it to be more masculine. Her name is Jozlyn Dean. What do you think?" May. 10, 2017:

"My middle name is Dean and I love it. It is unusual for a girl but I still love it. It was my grandmother's middle name and everyone called her Dean when she was growing up." May. 17, 2009:
