"WARNING: QUITE LONG plz read all of it:)My name is Davina, DUHHHH I always put others before myself, I'm not a girly girl neither a tom boy but I do love Michael Kors, Nikey and other cute stuff I come across. Question: Whenever I type my name it thinks its misspelt or wrong?? I don't care the less Davina's the more talent to pass around. Oh I lOVE drama and singing, I'm also a chatterbox that's what people say i am i've never come across a davina face to face. Its like sooo rare I don't think there is a Davina in GB. Which would be awesome cuz I'll be the only Davina in the whole country. I totally recomend getting a nickname davina is too long a name. IT NEEDS A NICKNAME my friends call me D=(D-E-E) or D dog=(D-E-E...D-O-G) which i think is easier. Thought= To get to alseep you need to pretend to sleep.
Names are just ways to tag ourselves, like tagging luggage
The word bed looks like a bed

"My name is Davina, although there are few mistakes when people try to say it ,it does not bother me because they always compliment on how beautiful my name is. And my grade 8 teacher named her baby girl Davina because she thought the name was a wonderful name and she said she loves the way I am determined to be the best and she wants that for her child too. Most people call me Vina or Dove and I'm OK with that. We should learn to love our names cause we never know what secrets lies behind its meaning." Apr. 20, 2017:
"My name is Davina. Where I live I used to be the only one. Spanish meaning Divine. I love my name and love that my parents picked Davina.
Love I get to share it now with so many." Apr. 19, 2017:
"I hated my name Davina when growing up and shorted it to Dee, however now I am older I love my name, I do not know anyone else with the same name, and people always say they love it. Pronounced DaVEEna not Divina not Divi just Davina and I am beloved" Feb. 17, 2017:
"I'm a Davina (da-vee-nah)! The only one I know and am quite happy with that. I have had spelling mistakes and mispronounced incidents but I wouldn't change that for anything. It's only now that I am thinking of a name for my child that I truly embrace how lucky I was for being given Davina as a name. Will never get sick of people ALWAYS saying how beautiful it is." "I named my daughter Davina almost 20 yrs ago. I still love it. Especially the meaning - loved, or, Divine Love. She was un-named for the first 2 weeks of her life, despite the very long list of potential girls names! When she was born none of them felt right for her. This name just popped into my head from nowhere but as soon as i thought it i knew this was the one. When i named her, Davina was not common, but was familiar. She was almost an Olivia or Felicia. Olivia has gone on to become quite popular. It was great never having to write her surname on clothing etc at school. Unfortunately high school shortened it to Dee. Hope it doesn't stick. A very similar Sanskrit name is Pravina which means skilled and self-mastery. Praveen is the male version. Enjoy choosing your baby's name - it does impact!" Jan. 2, 2011:
"My best friend's mum is called Davina and I think it's a gorgeous name... they pronounce it Dah-VEE-nah... every time I hear it, it reminds me of divine and yet it's original and sweet.. I'd consider it for my kids." Oct. 9, 2010:
"I love my name. The other choice my mom had was Dawn Ramona so I'm greatfull!!! Davina is unique & exotic. For some odd reason people feel the need to tell me, "I know so & so & there name is Davina, too". That gets a little old after a while. I am 28 & have met quite a few other Davina's, all ranging in age & race. But the one thing I NEVER get tired of hearing is, "WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME"." Jun. 18, 2008:
"I named my daughter Davina meaning "beloved". It seems everyone around pronounces her name with no problem. My daughter is just over 3 years old and I met less than 5 Davina's so far." Mar. 24, 2007:
"people pronounce and spell it wrong ALL the time. correct pronounciation: dah-vin-ah (like davinci but with an "a" at the end instead). I've only met one other person with my name and she pronouced it differently than I do. I often just spell my name out to people (like tellers) instead of saying it because it's easier. This aside though, I love it because it's different, and I like to talk about the heritage of my name. I'd be a completely different person if I were say, a "Julie"." Jun. 4, 2006:

"My name is Davina and I live in Alabama...I grew up in my hometown being the only Davina and when I went to college I didn't encounter any Davina's .... many people say Divine or Diva and spell and mispronounce it all the time.... I've been called Davida, Davita, Davia, Delvetta, Delvina, Danina, Damita, etc...it's irritating....they spell it Divina or Devina sometimes also....I love my name.... it is unique and uncommon... it is not boring and it has some regal association with it... there were many Queens named Davina...it is also a name that I've seen on caucasions, Hispanics, and African Americans so it is cross cultural.... overall great name and great meaning..." "I am Davina too. Most people get it right, but like the lady above, I often get Davinia which is annoying (not my name!). People often mistake it for Vivian too as I speak quickly. I pronounce it Dah-vee-nah." Oct. 15, 2008:
"My close friend's name is Davina. I don't think anyone would have trouble spelling or pronouncing it. It's quite rare though, i've never met anyone else with the name, and i've only seen the name once in a magazine before. It's quite a nice, feminine name. One of my other friends calls her "Na-na". Everyone else sticks to Davina." Mar. 19, 2007:
"I named my daughter divina because in spanish it means divine. I thought it was a good idea but now that she's in school people mispronounce her name and even spell it wrong all the time. I should have just named her divine. In school they just call her D.J. anyway. Non the less I love my little Diva." Feb. 4, 2007:
"My name is Davina, and I love it! People always spell it incorrectly like Devina or Divina - arghh! Worse still they often read it incorrectly and pronounce it as Davinia.
Its the feminine for David (Gaelic) and in Hebrew terms it means ıbeloved by Godı." Jan. 30, 2007:
"My name is Darina, and this is the closest that i will ever get to my name. I think that there should be a Darina on this site because its such a nice name." Aug. 12, 2005:
