  • "I named my little Girl Dani! Most people didnt seem to like the name at first but I loved it and still do. Some older ladies at the hospital even said to my parents "Who would name their daughter that?" I will someties include her middle name "Dani Grace" just so people know that im talking about my daughter. She totally fits her name and I cant imagine her as anything else. At 2 1/2 years old she is a spunky, silly, intelligent lil diva who is always smiling:)" Jul. 29, 2016: Report as inappropriate

  • "My name's Dani! It's short for Danielle, but no one ever calls me that anymore. I really like the name, and it gets mispelled alot sometimes as Danni or Danny, but it's not a big deal and I really like my name:)" Jan. 22, 2011: Report as inappropriate

  • "My sister named her twins Daniel and Danyel, then had a third baby 9 years later and named her Dani. lol I think shes crazy" Jun. 3, 2009: Report as inappropriate

  • "I'm very excited to see this name is not at all popular! My boyfriend and I are naming very soon arriving daughter Dani Winter, and to know that only 419 girls have this name... very nice! I see we made an excellent choice." Oct. 18, 2008: Report as inappropriate

  • "my name is Dani. it's short fr Danielle. a lot of people will think it's spelled danni or danny. also some people think I'm a boy when reading my name. I very much prefer being called Dani over Danielle. I love that name. I meet a lot of guys named Danny so it gets confusing but it's okay" Apr. 14, 2021: Report as inappropriate

  • "I was born on my dads birthday in 1956, his name was Daniel, so I was named Danni. My mom always told me there was a voluptuous blond in the newspaper comic Mary Worth named Dani which was where she got the idea. But she spelled my name with 2 n s so I?m neither voluptuous or blond! As a youth my girlfriends would anger their boyfriends when telling them they were hanging out with Danni! Haha. Relatives and friend alike constantly misspell my name, ending it with y or ie, or using only 1 n. I still get mail addressed to Mr. but at this point I just let it go." • "My name is Danni no it's not shory for danielle or danella or anything like that lol just Danni i was named after my dad who's name is Danny funny but actually really messed up story the doctors had told my mom and dad i was a boy but when i was born i became a girl since they couldn't think of a girl name the hust switched the Y to a I i used to hate it but everyone says it's a cute name and it matches me (like what's that supposed to mean???) anyways i feel like poeple who are named Danni (me) don't see their beaty and think they aren't pretty but according to a lot of people at school and home and even random people say i'm the most beautiful girl they've seen or i'm out of this world lol so it's a good thing ig" Apr. 17, 2019: Report as inappropriate
