"I love it. My name is Christin.Everyone just pronounces it wrong! I'm used to it though. My mom spelled it that way so it would have Christ in it. Pretty cool.I'm used to people saying Christian. I never bother to correct them." Apr. 12, 2016:
"I love it! I love being unique! I was born on Christmas Day and this was a way for my name to reflect when I was born. I have only met one other person with their name spelled the same way and she was born on Christmas Eve. I would not change my name for the world. I even take pleasure in correcting people who say it incorrectly!" Apr. 16, 2007:
"Of course I'll give it a thumbs up...it's my name! It was difficult as a child to have EVERYONE pronounce and spell it wrong, but now it's nice to have something "unique". I'm glad my mom decided to spell it different than the six other "Kristen's" in my class! Even if we all had the same name, I've never met another who spelled it this way." Aug. 13, 2006:

"My mom's middle name is Christine so she dropped the "e" and named me Christin (pronounced Kristen). I hate having a "unique" spelling. Growing up I was constantly called Christian or Christine so I started answering to either and I'm not offended by it. It's not the other person's fault that they've never seen my name before, it's my mother's fault for trying to be creative. I hated being little and never being able to have the personalized bike tags or pencils or stickers with my name on them. My dad would buy the Christine and scrape off the "e"...lame! Oddly enough I grew up in a very small town with only one high school and there was another Christin in my class. We were both born in 1984." May. 18, 2009:
"MY NAME IS CHRISTIN IT'S COOL BUT EVERYONE MISPELLS IT AND IT GETS ANNOYING ON THE POSTIVE SIDE EVERYONE LIKES IT!" Aug. 26, 2007:
"being named Christin has been a pain for me. My name is constantly misspelled by everyone including the IRS. I was given this name in the 60's. Before it shows up on the chart my father likes unusual names. The worse for me is people shortening it to chrissy or chris. Once the junior high someone shortened it to chris and used me to fill up the boys P.E. class.(Remember this was when boys were in one class and girls in another) To a buding preteen this was very embarassing. I have come up with a way to make people remember to spell it right I tell them to spell christ and and in." Sep. 10, 2006:
