"My DAUGHTER'S name is Scotti (no "e"). My grandmother wanted a great-granddaughter named after one of her favorite heroines from her "stories", and my husband's name is Scott. Plus, its roots are Gaelic/Celt, and means "love" when you strip it down to bare bones. (And it looks cute on a letter jacket.)
