"It's my name! REY is the spanish word for "KING". I am Filipino, a lot of words in our language were based from spanish. Since I was born on the feast of Christ the King (the last sunday before advent season in the Catholic Church calendar) my parents named me Rey Christian, Cristo Rey in Spanish.
People never mispronounce my name. but they sure mispell it to 'ray'. It's not often that i meet people with the same name as i do.
