"I never liked the name Randy. It's is not a name Americans in general appreciate or like. It was just a fad in the late 1950's. But Randy is also a slang word that has very negative connotations in Europe and India. Yet the naive American parents who named their boys (or girls) Randy at that time had no idea of that alternate bad meaning.
