"My name is Michial after my father who was born in 1952. My newborn son is also named Michial. My father has a couple tall tales as to how our name came about so I am unsure of its origin. We are entrepreneurs yet laid back. We are bot tough and tender men who play aggressively in all sports yet are sweet with our wives, children, the helpless, and underdogs. We are from Italian descent on my father's father's side." Feb. 24, 2014:
"My late brother's name was Michial. He was born in 1956 and at the time he was born, in Indiana, the nurse asked mom what name to put on the birth certificate and did not ask her how to speall it. Mom assumed it was the regular spelling, but after receiving the BC, noticed it was not. Mom and dad kept the spelling on the birth certificate. My brother Michial died from a heart attack a few years ago, he was my best friend and my third and last sibling to die. I am the oldest of the 4 children, and only mom and I are left. Michial was very successful in his career and left a beautiful family for me to love. I miss my brother Michial." Feb. 10, 2012:

"What was a Mother/Father fight about the correct spelling of either Michael (Mom's spelling) and Michial (Dad's spelling)it appears Dad won that battle. The name gets changed at every opportunity you can think of even this text the word Michial is underlined in Red as warning of misspelling. The down side is that anyone who hears you saying your name automatically when typing changes it from "Michial" to "Michael" or "Micheal" in important documents. Not going into the details but, my US Army DD-214 was incorrect and I had to request an DD-215 form to attach to my military Records. It was also discovered that the Military Records are in 3 separate Databases (Military, Education, Medical)within the US Government and my first name was misspelled in 7 different places within Military databases. Believed it hindered my job earlier searches after College because if the person cannot even spell his name right on his Resume (Michial instead of Michael), not hiring material. With this name every time you have to complete an important legal document you have to inform whoever is taking the information to spell it correctly (Bank forms, Credit Cards, Financial Intuitions, etc..) or you will have problems down the road. Only upside I can see that it would be harder to steal your identity. With my Son I tried to stop the misfortune I have gone through with this spelling and requested only to use M. (then his Middle Name which we would use for his first name) and while some diligent nurse asked the Wife what the M. initial was for it magically appeared on his birth certificate as "Michial". Now he has to endure the same wrath of misspelling of his first name the rest of his life. I had advise him whenever asked about his name to verify that it is correct at that time otherwise it will most likely be changed to some ones spelling version which is almost impossible to undo."
