"My name is Bryson and I was born in 1971. Did not hear the name much growing up in Benton, Illinois. Now I hear it more often and there are a few other Bryson?s in Benton, which is a town of 6,000. I also named my son Bryson. Have received many compliments over the years. Cool name if I say so myself.
I was named after a friend of my families from Washington state." Apr. 11, 2019:

"When we picked Bryson for our sons name back in 1998, I had never heard of it as a first name before. He has only had 2 classmates with the same name, and there is another little boy in town, but otherwise, it's still an uncommon name, which I love." Dec. 3, 2014:
"My name is Bryson. I use to not like it but everyone i meet say they love the name. In sweden they call me Brice for short, in america they call me BryBry. "We named our son Bryson and he was born in 2001. Bryce was a bit too common and Bryson sounds more sophisticated (means son of a nobleman). We've only met 1 other Bryson since his birth. He likes his name and we will NOT let people call him Bryce for short. It's Bryson! :) Love his name! Bryson is a handsome, blond, athletic, intelligent and enthusiastic boy." Sep. 10, 2009:

"My name is Bryson. I was born in 1973. When I was younger, you never heard my name. But because people are unoriginal sheep, there is the phenomenon of "fad names" or trendy names. It actually upsets me a little. Why wouldn't you want to name your kid something unique? Your kid will thank you for it. I thanked mine. Picking a fad name really says a lot about the parent, and not in a good way. Anyway, as you can see i'm not happy about this trend. Think twice before giving your kid a common name or a trendy name. It's not cool." Jul. 30, 2020:
