"I named my son Barron in June 2010. I am actually searching the popularity of the name since Trump became president. I hope people dont start overusing the name. I've only met one man with the name. My Barron is almost 7 and we all call him Barron or Bear. Of course, when he was a baby we called him Bear-Bear, Baby Bear, Little Bear, Busy Bear, etc. Lately he's requesting that we call him Barry... I just can't do it though. He likes to make up names of stores or restaurants he could own when he grows up, like The Bears Den." May. 15, 2017:

"Barron is simply an alternate spelling of baron. Giving your child a royal title, whether baron or prince or duke is obnoxious." Dec. 4, 2019:

"It is a mighty name that will serve any baby boy well, especially in adulthood. And FYI Professor Karlan, Yale Graduate, Law Professor of Stanford, apparently needs remedial spelling lessons in addition to vocabulary. The definition and origin of both name spellings differ, vastly." Dec. 4, 2019:

"My name is Barron, and that was a very unusual name back in 1968 in New Zealand! And still is today. I believe there is a failry famous black american basketballer named Barron. And Donald Trump's son is Barron. And there was also a Barron Hilton.
People on first hearing can think you said Darren or Arron but that's a very small price to pay for a strong and aristocratic sounding name that is very unique." Jun. 18, 2009:
"my dogs name is barron...i have never met or heard of anyone named barron." Feb. 24, 2006:
