"An interesting discussion. Further nuance is found in the fact that during the time of Arvel's popularity as a name, there also existed a little known and long-forgotten undercurrent of Arvel hating. The state of hating Arvels was known as being "Arvelous." Thought to have passed sometime in the late 1930s, the Arvelouscites have obviously been living quietly among the world's peoples until this episode so perniciously arose. It had been contended that most Arvelouscites disappeared into the ranks of Weimar Germany, and well, we all know how that went. Cheers to All Arvels, Keepers of Peace! Defenders of Freedom! Players of Music and Lovers of Wine and Not Beef! Here Here!" Mar. 26, 2007:
"Arvel is perhaps one of the coolest people I have ever met. Plus, the name sounds a bit like the lyric from that Jay-Z song, "Hola Hovito!" but instead, "Hola Arvito!" Catchy. Rock on, Arvel and other Arvels (Arveli?)." Mar. 21, 2007:

"They don't eat BEEF? I suppose this is because they subsist quite well on the flesh of human babies. I wish there was an option to give "Thumbs Emphatically Down."" Mar. 27, 2007:
"I know some people named Arvel, and I find them to be both untrustworthy and of feeble mind." Mar. 21, 2007:

"A google search for "Arvil" yields 146,000 results. A google search for "Arvel" yields 980,000 results. Nuf said. Arvel Bird only accounts for 13,400 of the "Arvel" results. Arvel M. Beckham Jr. accounts for 656. Arvel Hernandez accounts for about 58." Mar. 27, 2007:
"Have you noticed that the spelling "Arvil" was overall much more popular than "Arvel"? I think in deference to democracy, we can assume that means "Arvil" is the correct spelling. I don't know what that says about people who chose the deviant "Arvel" spelling for their sons, but I bet they're not the kind of people you'd want to be locked in a dark room with." Mar. 23, 2007:
"This is the person who left the comment in regards to the nature of Arvels. I would never conspire to bring you together with others of you ilk. Would you bring together a group of rapid wolverines? Would you introduce a clumsy person holding a plugged in radio to a person sitting in a tub full of water? Maybe, because you are an Arvel and that's the kind of thing Arvels do." Mar. 22, 2007:
