"I think the name Quinn is strong and beautiful. The letter Q for a mans name is not as manly as people think. From the way you write your name Q is a very feminine letter. Quinn is a powerful name for a woman especially in our society today. Men with the name Quincy or Quint are in for hard time adjusting. People don't consider that Quinn for a womans name encourages power, wisdom, as well as strength. My daughters name will empower her to become a leader. Girly names are nothing more then a society's outlook on woman. I am a man BTW and love the fact my daughter has a unique way." Dec. 31, 2018:
"I love the name! Considering naming my baby girl Quinn." Nov. 29, 2017:
"My Name is Quenzette! Which I don't like. I have people to call me Quen for short and that's the name that I go by. To me it means happy and upbeat & bubbly! That's me!I love it! It's different and I am different I am one of a kind! When I was growing up mean kids tried to make fun by calling quinny like calling a dog. But I didn't care." May. 29, 2017:
"I LOVE the name so much that I named my daughter Quynn. Yes, we spell it with a why. I wanted it to be different and "y"s seem more feminine to me, especially sinice her midle name is genDer neutral too. Quynn Sawyer :)" Dec. 22, 2015:
"I really love the name Quinn! My husband & I are trying to have a baby & if we have a little girl I will name her Quinn! SO cute :)" May. 22, 2015:
"We named our daughter (Feb 2014) Quinn Daphne. Sometimes people think we say Gwen, so I usually really try to emphasize the "Qu" when people ask her name. My first experience out of the hospital with her was not a good one. She had to go to the doctor for a check up the day after we left the hospital. When the nurse came to call her back, she said, "Kwan?" Obviously, we didn't get up, even though we were the only ones in the waiting room. Then the nurse said, "Kwan? Is that him?" We looked at our daughter, wearing a pink outfit and covered in a pink blanket and said, "This is Quinn, are you looking for HER?" Under her breath, she muttered, "that does not spell Quinn." Other than that one instance, we've had a great experience, and get tons of compliments. Her nickname is Kenzo." May. 14, 2015:
"My daughter is expecting in June and she will be named Quinn Nicolette" Mar. 1, 2015:

"It is the name of my first granddaughter-now 3 months old! I LOVE her name!" Dec. 7, 2014:
"My 2 year old daughter is called Quinn Gracie and I love it! I think it sounds very feminine but strong. I originally wanted Niamh but after its recent boost in popularity I'm glad I was persuaded to go with Quinn. I often receive comments on how nice her name is and how unusual but not too far out." Oct. 28, 2014:
"We have a baby due in three weeks and if it's a girl she will be called Quinn Rae. I have only ever known it as being a girls name so I see it as being very feminine and pretty. My husband and I got the idea from the character on the show One Tree Hill. Rae is a family name from way back and has been used for both sexes (except spelt as Ray for males). If we have a boy his name will be Benjamin Ray, but I'm secretly hoping it's a girl as I LOVE the name Quinn so much!" Sep. 17, 2014:
"We have a son, Logan and if our next is a daughter it will most definitely be Quinn! The middle name will be after my husband's grandmother, so it will be Quinn Pauline!" Mar. 10, 2014:
"LOVE THE NAME QUINN!!! We are expecting our first baby girl April 2014 and I want to name her Quinn but I need to work on my husband a little more ;) never have heard this name till before I knew we were expecting at the doctors office a mom called her little girl over named Quinn! I have been in love w / the name since!!" Jan. 11, 2014:
"Back in 1977, I had made up my mind to name my daughter, Erin Quinn, my father's middle name was Quinn and I always loved the name. I've also always loved the name Erin and it seemed so appropriate to add Quinn ... both my daughter and I have had numerous compliments on her lovely name. My daughter and her "Pop" always shared a special bond until the day he passed away. Now, my daughter is expecting her first child and has chosen to name her daughter Devyn Quinn ...What a lovely way to keep the memory of her "Pop" going on...let's hope our future generations help keep the "Quinn" tradition to honor their ancestors." Jul. 1, 2013:
"I named my daughter Quinn Beatrice in 2009. I am still so happy to have named her that and it was accepted by her dad and I almost instantly. We get complimented constantly!" Jun. 4, 2013:
"Hey my name is Quinn, I am 12 years old and it is really difficult to get mugs and Key rings with my name on them and the only reason why I do have t shirts and neck lasses with my name on is when my mum had it personalised e.g they had to make it there and then , it wasn't already made
.I am female and I do get the problem that people assume that I am a boy but that is only when they haven't seen me.
For younger children, of course the are going to spell it wrong e.g my little brother thinks it has a w in and some people only put one n too but I don't mind .
I find that most of the time people mis-pronounce my name and think I am called Gwin. Though it is understandable when I have a sister called Gwenny
( Gwen) .
I was the only Quinn in my first school and still am in middle school , which I kinda like cuz it is hard to get your stuff lost or muddled up if there is only one of u in the school.I have never come across another person in my area called Quinn not even a boy.Which again I quite like cuz it gives you a bit more individuality . I have however, come across One person with the surname called Quinn e.g Ray Quinn the singer.
I guess I get a bit annoyed when people say that Quinn is a boys name. This is because,, yes it can be both bos and girls name but my personal view is that you call the girl Quinn and the boy Quinntin.
so that is how I feel about my name and I love It , it's different and unusual too. my parents named me after the tv series Doctor Quinn it is a fairly old film . hope this help anyone wishing to call a pet or new family member by this name xxx" Jan. 20, 2013:
"I am due in one week I have 4 boys and this will be our little girl!! Her name will be Quinn Harper and we are super excited to have my first and only daughter to have that name!!:))))" Dec. 18, 2012:
"I am from Holland when we have our first kid we are also going to name him or her Quinn it is a name that could go both ways I am thinking of adding a name to it.. any suggestions?" Jun. 26, 2012:
"I love the name, but the first time I saw it, I saw it spelled Quinne. I was disappointed it's been gaining popularity, I like unique, not out-there names. It seems the more popular a name, the more likely you are to have people with the same name that are just not good representations. Like Madison. Ugh. I'm having a boy though, so I have to wait, and hope it doesn't get more popular. :(" Apr. 3, 2012:
"I think its such a beautiful name, we are also planning on naming our daughter (due 6 days ago!) Quinn Elizabeth, and usually people don't notice how it sounds like Queen Elizabeth until we point it out. and even then it just makes people love the name more :). Hurry up baby Quinn!" Oct. 9, 2011:

We live in Ireland but I don't know if anyone else has used this name. Quinn Alexandra was the other choice we had but we went with Marie cos it was after my mam" Jul. 28, 2011:
"My daughter was born in May and her name is Quinn Marie (middle name was a family name passed down for generations so I did not have a lot of control on that one). Everyone loves it and I get so many compliments on it. It is different enough to be unique, but not so different that it makes people go "what were they thinking"." Jul. 11, 2011:
"Quinn is spelled with 2 n's. My name is Quinn, and congratulations to other Quinns out there. You got the best name in the world." May. 23, 2011:
"We named our daughter Quinn in 2007. Now I'm afraid that, with the head cheerleader on Glee being named Quinn, it will get too popular. Oh well, still love the name. And my Mom says that it fits her perfectly!" Jan. 31, 2011:
"I'm 27 and female and named Quinn and i've had to deal with people saying it's a boys name my whole life... from what i've heard it's a girl's name traditionally in ireland and Quentin is the boy's version but that was a long time ago and in modern days the name Quinn is used for either gender. I love my name now but it is frustrating when people constantly think it's my last name or the try to call me Gwen or Queen or Quincy...." Jan. 19, 2011:
"My name is Quinn. I was born in 1991. I love the name but i am sad that is becoming more popular [i didnt meet another named Quinn until i was 13 -- and now i hear it quite often]. Its a beautiful name. but be prepared to have people screw it up your whole life. i get called Gwen, Lynn, [i even had mail sent to a "Megan Grace" once], or people call me by my last name [Grace] all the time." Dec. 22, 2010:

"Well Mr 19 year old Quin (May 20 2010) I have the inside track on the Quinn with one "n". You are named after a small village just west of the river shannon.
