Though the English version has it as Keilah, but the Spanish version has Keila. Anywho, the meaning to it is 'fortaleza' which is strenght in spanish. It seems to be confusing as to where it came from and everyone has their own opinion. I actually didn't get the name from anywhere when I named my daughter. I just sort of made it up and then checked to see if it was a real name already being used. I have found it pronounced Kay-lah, and Kee-lah. I like Kee-lah, and that's what I use for my daughter. I know too many people who have a name pronounced Kay-lah, regardless of how it's spelled. But I have my reasons for why I like it pronounced that way." (Report as inappropriate)
