"My daugher's name is Angeline. People who don't know her will pronouce it (An-gel-leen) but it is acctually (An-gel-line. Ever since the 2nd grade, she will correct anyone who does not pronounce it correctly. It can be anyone; a teacher, a doctor or nurse, it doesnt matter. Her first name is the same as her Dad's Grandmother's name, and we would not have it any other way!!" Dec. 18, 2009:
"I love my name! When I was little I hated it because it was so different and I came to a new country and wanted a "normal" name so I shortened it to "Angie". But when I left school I worked in a call centre for a while and I got soo many positive comments on my name and I just love it now! I love that its so unique and pretty and feminine. And yes people do always get it wrong, they always call me Angela, or Angelina.. why is that? :P" Dec. 16, 2009:
"You just can't go wrong with a name like Angeline. It's not my name, nor do I know anyone with it, but if my wife ever had another kid I'd recommend Angeline for sure." Jul. 25, 2007:
"Well, people do say it wrong! They call me Angelina or Angelica or Angela or anything that starts with angel! Angeline is a Greek name and it means Heavenly Messenger. Long ago when I was in the second grade my teacher told me Heavenly Messenger meant angel so I was happy but back in the second grade we had a job called messenger where you would deliver something to the office and when the boys in my class found out they would make fun of me by saying Heavenly Messenger will you bring me a pizza? I didn't like that but in third grade they for got all about it! Most people call me Angeline but my friends call me Angie. I don't think it's too bad to have the name Angeline so I'm fine with it because second grade was long ago!" Feb. 3, 2006:
