Comment left Apr 17, 2013: "I AM A FEMALE SPELLED TRACEY, NO ONE GETS IT RIGHT, EVEN WHEN THEY REPLY TO MY EMAILS WITH MY NAME IN THE ADDRESS, THEY OMIT THE E.
I WAS TOLD BY MY MOTHER THAT TRACY WAS THE BOY'S SPELLING, AND TRACEY WAS THE FEMALE SPELLING. PEOP;E GIVE ME A WORSE TIME ABOUT MY LAST NAME, ALWAYS MISPRONOUNING IT, AND WHEN I SAY IT, PEOPLE CORRECT ME AND SAY OH YOU MEAN xxxxxxxx. GUESS I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SPELL MY FIRST NAME, OR PRONOUNCE MY LAST." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jan 22, 2013: "I am a 57 year old (female) Tracy. When I was born in the 50's my daddy picked it out (back then it was a BOY's name & he wanted a boy). I love my name; it fits me as it's unique & individualistic. It's irritating when people spell it as "Tracey" or worse, the cutsey "Traci". At least my mom didn't name me Debbi or Cindy, both popular names at that time." (Report as inappropriate)

I constantly point out to people that my name is spelled the guy way especially if i run into another girl who spells it Tracey, since the name runs in my family. Although I have come to realize that I have only run into a couple of guys named Tracy. I love my name and its not very common especially when finding the same exact spelling." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 18, 2008: "I like my name, spelled Tracy, because it's not a common name any more. I was named after a close friend of the family's but her name had an e in it, like the Irish spelling. I have red hair so I know somewhere along the line I have some Irish background so knowing my name originated from Ireland makes me feel good about myself. Maybe once or twice in my life someone has commented on my name, asking if it's a boys name or how to spell it but usually it just is what it is. I do know though that when someone says "Tracy" they're talking about me or when someone I know hears the name Tracy they think of me because I have probably only met one or two people my whole life who know two Tracys of any spelling. A couple of times recently when I told people my name was Tracy Evans they said, "Oh that's really your name? Isn't that the name of a famous person?" I don't think it is, so I just say "Yeah! It's me!"" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 15, 2008: "I LOVE MY NAME! I am a girl and its spelled like a guys name of course nobody question's the spelling...and I can't imagine what guys go thru with the teasing but I think that Tracys guys and girls are unique! Be proud! Oh by the way I have my Mexican Mamma to thank for my name, not Maria or Josefina! lol!
