"My husband and I have named our first child Solomon. The name means peace. The nurses kept coming into our hospital room saying how peaceful everything was.. and that was before we even told them the name!! It turned out perfect. Solomon was born at the end of October, and we are so happy with what we chose. <3 It sounds intelligent, sophisticated, and soft yet strong at the same time." Jan. 11, 2017:
"We named our 16-month-old son Solomon Grey. I love that the name is strong, yet soft sounding, intelligent, and handsome. And I like the nickname option of Sol, though we plan on calling him by his full name. We get a lot of positive feedback on his name." Oct. 21, 2009:
"My eldest son is named Solomon. He does get it spelt Soloman alot, but that is ok. He loves his name and would prefer to be called Solomon than Sol or anything else. Everyone says that they love our kids names and it feels good to know that God is using something as simple as a name to get people thinking!" Feb. 12, 2009:
"My 18 month old Son's middle name is Solomon. We picked it out for a few reasons. Number one, my husband's name is David and in the Bible, David's son was King Solomon. Number two, the name means "Peace" and God definitely blesses us with peace. Number three, in the Bible, God said that there will never be anyone as Wise or Rich as King Solomon. Peace? Wisdom? Riches? Royalty? Pretty good things to bestow on your little one! We have gotten a lot of comments about Solomon, but all positive. Even at the hospital, all the nurses were all a twitter saying that he will grow up to be someone amazing with a name like that. We think so too!" Jan. 25, 2009:
"This is the name we have chosen for our next baby if it is a boy. We love it, its is strong and manly sounding and it is not that common." Jun. 25, 2008:
"It's the name we gave our son who is still a tot. And honestly, it gives people pause when we tell them our son's name. I couldn't be happier with the name chosen for him. I hope that he grows up to like it as well. People often spell it Soloman, but we spell it the biblical way - Solomon. So far, we haven't met any youngsters with the same name." Nov. 19, 2007:
