  • "My father tells me he named me Gilberto because it is such a strong name. My life though, has been full of mispronounciations. Gilberto is a hispanic/latino name, and as such the G actually sounds like an H. Heel Berto, not Gil Ber toe. Though I am proud of my name it has proven difficult to pronounce for many. Some nicknames I have been called.....Gil, Hil (Heal) Hill Eh, Beto" Nov. 21, 2005: Report as inappropriate
