Yes, first days of school were terrible and I get called Yo and YoYo constantly...but I find it cute and love it that nobody ever forgets my name...even if they can't spell it. I though, like it, as I've never known anybody else whose called it. She also hates it when people mistake her name and call her Yolanda or Yolandee, it drives her up the wall. I call her Yo, as i'm used to this now, we've been together now for 5 yrs, and I don't think she would take too kindly to me calling her by her full name...not unless I want a divorce!!!lol" (Report as inappropriate)

When this name *finally* came to me (six weeks later), it was so right!
She loves her name, it suits her well, and it's not common.
Most people pronounce it correctly, but if they don't, they usually say "Yolawnda", "Yolanta", or "Ulanda."" (Report as inappropriate)
