I recently attended a seminar and asked them to spell my name as Tonda on my name badge - it's amazing how many people throw an "r" in it (Tondra)! Here are some other names I get: Tahondra, Tunda, Tonya, and Thunder. I get mail for: Shonda, Rhonda, Fonda, Yonda, and Donda (most of them time, they ask me to print my name clearly and then change it anyway! Guess they think I don't know my own name!) if your a parent and your thinking about choosing this name for your baby girl i highly reccomend this Beautiful name and no don't 2nd guess your self yes as you see that this name does have it's down sideds but in the end your little girl will learn to love it not just for the uniqueness but also because you picked a name that represents her. For all the wonderful, beautiful, and very talented Tonda's "STOP!" your search for the meaning because i'll give you what i think is the best meaning for this name it's:"A BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED,& AMAZING YOUNG GIRL."
