User Comments about the name Tisha

Comment left Nov 21, 2008: "My name is Tisha. It was spelled Tissha on my birth certificate. At some point,it was changed to have one S. For a while I wanted to spell it tisAH, hoping that would help people pronounce it correct. It's pronounced like Trisha but without the R. People always call me Trisha. But kids never get it wrong. They aren't jaded with the half listening and figuring they know what you said when it's halfway out of your mouth. But, I do like my name. I like that it's not common, but not weird. I always said I wanted to get a persanalized plate for my car with NO R PLZ because I'm always called Trisha." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Feb 16, 2007: "I really didn't like my name growing up. As it was and still is mispronounced. My name is pronounced as Trisha without the R. I'm constantly being called Teesha or Trisha or Trish. Aggravating, but you get used to it as time goes by. I have only met one other person with my name and pronunciation. We were both surprised when we met, as we didn't know of any others with our name! I love my name now, since it is different than the norm. Just like me! :)" (Report as inappropriate)
