For those that don't know it is of Greek origin, like myself and it means "Princess", however, in the Biblical context it means "Honoring God." My grandmother found the name in a romance novel she was reading, the little girl in the story was a Greek princess named Tianna and my grandmother knowing we were Greek knew that was the perfect name." I love my name because it is unique, i used to hate it because it was not the usual name everyone could pronounce, but i love it. My sister's name is Rianna, so theres a lot of mix up there too.
