I was looking at a map and this lady walked up and my sistter said 'move Tessa' so i did and the lady was like 'your name is Tessa? so is mine' and that's the only time I've met another Tessa. They told me they saw the name on the back of a card a little Indian girl drew. People ask me if its short for Therese and when i tell them no they think its weird. I love the meaning of Tessa. My dad calls me T and my friends either call me Tessa or Tess. Although my little sisters and brothers call me Tessie which i think its annoying but cute at the same time. It's very cool because I actually became very close friends with a Broadway star because HIS daughter's name is also Tessa. Our common name link brought us together and we've been friends ever since!
