In Europe it was be very strange to name a girl Sasha. Bt I'm fine with it all the Sasha's I have meet are pretty unique individuals just like the name. It grew on me too used to hate as everyone would say it's a girls name. Lol I should move to Russia :-) when I turned 15 or 16 girls started to think it was was cool and unique at that point I started liking it. I get the Sausage, Sushi , Salsa thing too. I hated the name when I was young, wanting a "normal" name that you could find on a keychain but I am truly glad I have the name I do, it fits me perfectly.
