Selena, Selina, Selene, Salina, Salina, Celena, Celina, Celine...I get them all. It is not a variation of Selena and no, I am not named after some dead singer! The names starting with "Se" or "Ce" mean moon, or moon goddess. The ones with "Sa" mean essentially, salt, because there was a time in the world when salt was more precious than gold."
