Some poele at school have called me polyester or polystyrene and polygon and polly wanna craker and too many more. The most annoyin thing is they keep using the same insults again and again so it's gotten too old so I just say to them that when they find an insult that I havent heard then let me know coz ur just getting pathetic. I'm going through the stages of getting to like my name and a lot of people ask me what my names is and I tell them they say that it's a beautiful name, and classmates in my school don't insult me so much as when I started and they just call me Pollz which is still annoying but it sounds quite cool and edgy! =P" (Report as inappropriate)

Some people have been kind enough to tell me they think it's a childish or "stupid" name...(thanks for that)...but I'm from New England and most people I know seem to think it's a classic and solid name. Many people assume that it's a nickname, or ask me what it's "short for". It is a fun name to tease about - Polly Wolly Doodle, Polly Want A Cracker, Sweet Polly Purebred, Polly Put The Kettle On, blah,blah,blah... My friends in college had endless hours of fun finding things to call me in the dictionary under poly- , e.g., polyunsaturated, polyamory, polyploidy, polymorphic, and so on... too much time on our hands, perhaps?!"
