Comment left Jul 12, 2005: "my name is Palma, ik like it but i have to pronounce it really clearly and people often don't hear it right the first time...! they think it's Paula, or whatever.. in dutch it's pronounced different from croatian (origin, it's my grandmothers name too) in croatian the first -a- is said longer than in dutch, where people say it as a short -a-.
other than that, it's fun to have a name nobody else has. Thanks mum and dad! :-)" (
