It is a beautiful, graceful name and even though everywhere we see says it's a very popular name, I've never met anyone named Olivia! Not that it would stop me. We'll probably call her Liv for short. It conjures nourishment (olive trees, olive oil), peace (olive branch), and sounds mature and dignified. I like that it is somewhat rare and sounds a bit old fashioned but it nice for modern times too.
