Comment left May 15, 2007: "My name, too, is Moira, and like the other woman said, I have had every variation possible used in place of the phonetically correct Moy-ra (including by family members). So in my early 20's I adopted a nickname given to me of "Mo". It's just easier and saves me grief (but not my mother, who hates "Mo"!). Parents should really consider what their kids are going to endure before they tag a moniker like this on their kid." (Report as inappropriate)

I get call mayra, mariah, maria, the whole bunch but Maria drives me nuts the most. Not sure why. I've only met one the person with my name." (Report as inappropriate)
