The worst mis-pronunciation of my name was some lady who calle the house asking for me and said "Missy-ay-la" and other various butcherings of my name. My mom just told her I wasn't there because she obviously wasn't any friend of mine! It's cool to see that others have the same spelling! I love the name Micayla and we even call her Mike for short (that throws people off). She was born in 2005. I actually named her after Michaela Quinn from the TV show Dr.Quinn medicine woman. I have met other people with the same name but their spelling has never been the same as mine. I am always correcting people of how to spell my name. They usually spell it "Michaela" or "Mikaela". My name has been pronounced incorrectly a few times eg. Mik-i-la. It is actually pronounced basically how it is spelt eg. Mic-ay-la." (Report as inappropriate)
