Comment left Nov 14, 2006: "My 10-year old daughter's name is Micaela. The original spelling is "Michaela" but I pulled the "h" out as it looked to masculine to me. I got the name from the movie "Lorenzo's oil". Lorenzo's mother, played by Susan Sarandon, was named Michaela. Then, Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman - came out and everyone was exposed to this beautiful name. The only thing I don't like about the name is that people are choosing the use the name, but spell it "McKayla" "Makayla", etc. . ." (Report as inappropriate)
