Comment left Nov 02, 2008: "My daughter spend some months trying to decide on my granddaughter Makenzies name, I had heard this name but spelt McKenzie or Mackenkie but, as we are Irish we found that Mc or Mac was too formal as many Irish surnames are Mc or Mac, I found this spelling online and now our lil angel is Makenzie and everyone thinks its so adorable and unique, she's 20months old now and with another baby on the way my daughter is now looking for another unique and adorable name for the new arrival."
