We've heard of a few other Macy's but there are none in our area. She is a super cute little blonde with an amazing personality and the name fits her perfectly!" (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 23, 2008: "Hello! My name is Macy and i am 17 years old. I have found that since my name is so unique it can captivate people and cause them to remember me. Most people spell my name correctly but i every now and then catch somebody spelling my name "macey or maci". I have met three other girls named macy so far in my lifetime. I have found that my name carries a stereotype short and blonde because that would be me and all of the other Macy's that i have met/known." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 23, 2008: "I am 17 years old and my names is macy and everybody says my names suits me because I am a short blonde cheerleader" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 06, 2008: "My name is Macy and I've only met one other girl with my name. I was 12 and she was a newborn. I really like my name. I was born in 1987. It's definitely a unique name." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left May 28, 2008: "My daughter was born in 2005 and we had picked the name Macy practically from the day I found I was pregnant. She's nearly three now and there are two other Macy's in my area cos there Mum's loved my daughters name! Whilst I am happy they like the name, I had pciked it cos I didn't know of anyone (living closeby or otherwise) with the name and kind of grates me that there's more than 1 Macy in my Town!! Still, love the name!" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 17, 2008: "I know someone who had a daughter and named her Macy May. Shes pretty much the BEST littler girl I know. Shes so fun, and stubborn for sure, but organized and kind. She rocks. I love her." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 01, 2008: "I have a Macy (12/26/06) and adore the name. We get so many compliments. Agree that it's short but easy and unique. Weird that our choice was "Macy Nicole" too! Interesting that we chose the same first and middle names, as Nicole is not that common anymore. Also, my Macy is ridiculously stubborn! I heard this from one other person, too. "Stubborn" is the first word I'd use to describe her (the second being "magnificent!")" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 24, 2008: "I named my baby girl (born on 1st April 2008) Macy Elizabeth. I think its a beautiful name and everyone I tell also loves it. Here in Australia I have not heard of any other Macy (as yet anyway)." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 18, 2008: "Macy is my name. I was born in 1973 and have never met another girl with the name until recently-she was 10. I have met a man with the name when I was in college. I always thought it was a man's name becuase I know several men in their 50's and 60's with the name. It is a last name, so as a surname is more of a boys name. But it is gaining popularity-obviously as a girls name. I never hated it, but I never liked it." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 07, 2008: "My husband and I are having a daugher in Sept. 2008. We are going to name her Maci D'Ann. I like the name because it isn't "over used" and still sounds unique." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 04, 2008: "My grandaughter is called Maicee <<<< just because we spell it this way, it doesnt mean we are illiterate....refering to the bad comment above. It is individual and unique. Maicee, Macy, Macey, doesnt matter how you spell it. Its a lovely name" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 04, 2008: "We are going to name our baby (due in August) Macy Nicole. I love it, its not too long and it's easy to say -not a tongue twister. I don't care about the dept. store either! Everyone I tell loves it as well." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 03, 2008: "My little girl was born in 2003, Macy Kathryne. I wasn't aware of the soap opera character, I just like surnames. I thought it was a very pretty and appealing without being overused. The department store association is a strong one, but I don't think it detracts from the name at all." (Report as inappropriate)
