The name is a SURNAME, people! a SURNAME!! It means SON of Kenzie. Not only that, but its too trendy as a girl's name anyways. What is this trend with giving girls surnames as given names? It's ANNOYING. It's appropriate for dogs, maybe, but not people. The name Mac means SON OF. How many of you out there would name your daughter "Sonofkenzie?" Wel that's what you're doing. It means born of a wise and handsome leader, which of course my father was consider handsome when he was young and is smart of math and science. At first, when I was young, I didn't like my name because it wasn't very popular nowadays. But as I got older I accepted it because people thought it was a beautiful and an unusual name. People all the time spell it wrong, Mckenzie is probably the most common misspelling. Most of the time people pronounce it right, though. It's only last year (I'm 15) when I first met another person with the name Mackenzie. It's nice having an original name but I don't like having others not know what the name is or asking always how to spell it. Even my own family can't spell it! But, it's an ok name."
