Comment left Sep 16, 2006: "I agree that I'm unable to grow into my name, yet I do recieve compliments about my name as well. I also notice that stigmas are attached to my name. Many times when my name is seen on an email, an application, or mentioned, some people draw up preconceived notions about me before they've ever interacted with me. I've received rude voicemails at work, and recieved emails in simplified language. Once the same people that have rendered their impolite communications speak to/meet with me, their tone and demeanor changes. Very often, my level of articulation and professionalism seems to surprise them and immediately changes their tone. An interesting observation, to say the least." (Report as inappropriate)
