As I have gotten older I LOVE my name. I am always amused when people misspell my name and when they give me the "huh" look. I also love it when people ask me 4 times how to pronounce it. I wanted to be a brittant, lauren, or ashley like every other girl, lol. I like that's its different than most girls' names. People don't call me very many things besides my name, every once in a while i hear Laken Bacon, & i've heard people call me Lacken, or laker. I always get people that say "Wow thats a unique name, Ive never heard that before" and occasionally I get people that look at me funny and say "what?" I like my name a lot, I have even had someone name theyre daughter after me. People call me Laken Bacon Butt, or just Laken Bacon, Or just Bacon. I also get called Lakey Bakey. People often cant pronouce it and i get called Laklyn. Ive gotten used to it I dont even correct them anymore. lol.
