My grandma would buy me things labeled "Kyle" and just add an "e" to them. I really resented that. My mom said she spelt it "Kylee" because she thought it was pretty and that it would be easier for me to learn to spell. I finally fell in love with my name in high school. I can't imagine being anything else! Though I often get called "Kaylee," "Kyle," and "Keeley," it's worth it. I just wish it wasn't so popular now....I want to remain unique!" What I don't get is, my name should be very easy to say all there is, is the "Ky" and the "Lee." It's certainly an icebreaker when I introduce myself. Although it's becoming more popular--- in the seventies there we none.
