I like the fact that it is a fairly unusual name. We spell it Kilah and even though she is almost a year old people still pronounce her name wrong. she gets called Kylee Kayla and kill ah(that one drives me nuts)we were originally going to name her riley but by the time she was born it was a very popular name and we didnt want her to go to school with 8 different rileys we still love her name and maybe now that it is becoming popular by that time she is in school maybe they will pronounce it right. I have a lot of nick-names like Kays, Kai, Kiddle, and Kyler, but I really love Kyla. I've never heard of Chyla, and I think its a little weird. When I was younger, I wanted to spell my name "Cyla" but I thought that just look weird. I like the "k" version a lot better, because since its sort of a hard name for people to say and spell anyway, they can use all the help they can get. My best friends name is Ayla... I don't know if it was destiny or something but our love child is named Kayla lol. I'm tried of people calling me Ayla, Kayla, Kyle, Kylie, and crap like that. I hope more people keep getting named Kyla, so it becomes more popular and people get it right. But, then the name would lose its uniqueness, and that wouldn't be good either.
