We were going to name her Alena Julaine, but after hearing so many versions of Alena (ex. Alayna, Elaina, Elena..) I wanted something different.
My boyfriend actually picked this name. I fell in love with it right away!! :) Kyah, we pronounce like SKY but without the "Y" and and -AH at the end. Rhymes with Mya. I added the silent "H" at the end because I felt 3 letters was too short of a name.
We're going to call her "Ky" for short :)

We had this name picked out way before she was even conceived and so far it has been well received and even stolen a couple of times! :) However, my doctor's nurse still calls her kee-a, like the car - even though we correct her a dozen times - telling her it rhymes with my-a...she's old so we forgive her..."
