Everyone always called her Kay for short. My sister's middle name is "Kay" - which was named after my mother. My Father's middle name is "Lynnwood". So, I put the Kay and the Lynn together and named my daughter Kaylyn. I think it is a beautiful name. Sometimes people pronounce it Kaitlyn, but it is not that big of deal. it is misspelled and pronounced wrong all the time, but i love it..

A lot of people say that you get it misspelled or said wrong and it's true.. many people cannot spell it right or even say it correctly. But, for all those ladies out there who are in doubt.. please name your children this. Yah, you will have people who can't say your kids name but really, it's NOT that agitating. You get over it and in time you simply laugh about it; it becomes an inside joke between you and the world.
