Both my parents were teachers growing up and picked this spelling because they figured it looked like it sounded, thus making it pretty difficult to mispronounce for teachers on the first day of school every year!! They did the same thing with my older sister, Kristee. I like the fact that there aren't many others out there with this name/spelling combination; It's unique and quirky, just like me!! Also, my mom capitalized the C so I got called "KayLee" a lot, and I always have to spell the whole thing... Other than the spelling, a great name. Not very common, not oddball."
