It is a strong but feminine name, the kind of name people can take seriously. The y in my name is because my dad's middle name is Myles and he was continuing the tradition. My mom wanted to name me Jeanette, but my dad wanted me to have the same initials as him and his brothers. My mom knew an old Swedish woman named Karin whom she liked, so I was named after her."
