I have always loved my name, but hated the fact no one could pronounce or spell it correctly. I never heard anyone called Kaylee until I was sixteen and the spelling has been always been different. Truly shocked there are so many of us!

My Dad liked Haley and my mom liked Kayla so she mixed them and got Kaley. People always pronounce my name wrong.. I HATE IT. My doctor acctually said it kA-lee for years but now she says it right which is kay-lee but spelt Kaley. She had never before heard of someone with my name. I've actually only met about 3 other kaleys (but not spelled k-a-l-e-y). I was born in 91.
The only people who say it wrong when sounding it out are those who speak primarily Spanish. Those people end up saying k-ah-LAY [ah is pronounced like when the doctor says to open wide and say ah]. Actual pronounciation of Kaley is "KAY-lee" not "kay-LEE"
