I actually picked my name myself, as I legally changed my name last year.
My old name started with 'Lyn', but I didnt like the full spelling. My family and lots of old friends call me Lyn anyway.
I have loved the name 'Kate' since I was young, so Kaitlynn seemed a great choice to replace the name I was unhappy and didnt identify with.
