We thought it wouldn't be at all common, but coincidentally at her older brother's preschool there are two other younger siblings named Kaia (one spelled Kaya), and a boy named Kai.By the time our girl goes to school she'll likely been in a class with another Kaia...which is kind of a bummer. but it's still a beautiful name!" She is almost 11 yers old and sometimes loves the name and sometimes doesn't. I hate when people call her Kay uh. It holds specical significance to my husband and I seeing my name is "Kai". We decided to add an "A" onto the name Kai and came up with Kaia. She's named after me, her Momma!
