It's french and has more of a "z" sound, so it's really bothersome when people get it wrong. George Cohen's sister was named Josephine, but he always called her Josie (half with the Jozee pronounciation in the film) and i fell in love with the name! We've always pronunced it Josie and she spent half her early childhood infuriated at those who put the 'zee' spin on it. She just gave birth the the most perfect little girl in the world, Audrey Louise!

My friends mostly call me Jos (Jowse) and i like my name because its pretty and unique and i think that the name suits me well:) Its not too old or new (but whatever you do, dont call your kid Josaphine, because the amount of kids ive met (Im a teen) that have said.. Oh my gran's called Josaphine gets pretty annoying, and it makes me sound old...)
Although, Sometimes people pronounce it jo-ZEEE and it drives me crazy.
