I believe Harper originally refers to those delivering news and information. A journalist, an informer, a wordsmith; Someone with wit and education and intellect. I think it's a strong name, with the name Grace following to soften it a bit. I also noticed in the movie "Things We Lost in the Fire," the daughter's name is Harper." (Report as inappropriate)
