Comment left Mar 05, 2008: "My 3 yr old daughters name is Devan, and we love the name for either boy or girl. We picked this spelling because I have heard people mispronounce Devon as de von. I felt that you couldn't mess up Evan with a D in front, however some people will again mispronounce and say de van which sounds like a bad 1970's floral sofa. Devin just looks a little devious on paper and I'm not really into y's for i's. Ultimately I think the name sounds great no matter how it is spelled." (Report as inappropriate)
