I hardly ever hear of anyone having it and here recently ago my cousin had a baby girl and named her Cora..She is holding true to the meaning of her name..I hope all girls and women are holding true to our name. We are all beautiful and strong women and that goes for every woman not just the Cora's everyone.. I hope when you choose a name for a girl at least keep that name in mind. It has served me well and I am proud to say my name with honor and courage and so should everyone." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jan 09, 2008: "We named our daughter Cora, who is a year and a half old now. She's named after her great, great, great Grandmother and great, great Aunt. It's wonderful to pass along this name within a family. Especially since her great, great Grandmother is still living!" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Dec 14, 2007: "My Grandmother's name was Cora and when we had our daughter in January we named her after both our grandmothers CoraJoy all one word and spelled just that way! I love it and think of it as an antique. I often refer to it as an antique name. We also named her Leoneise after my Great aunt and my sister." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Sep 12, 2007: "We named our daughter Cora so we obviously think it's a beautiful name! People's response to it has been positive - most people say they haven't heard it much (if ever) but think it's pretty." (Report as inappropriate)
